Code of Conduct

(They’re more like guidelines really, yaar.)

Cap’n has final say if any of these here rules confuses ye.

Keep It Clean

  1. No profane, obscene, or vulgar language. Even if ye be a pirate!*
  2. Dress modestly ‘n traditionally appropriate for either lads or wenches whichever ye be. Keep cleavage, midriffs, buttocks, ‘n private areas fully covered by loose fitting apparel. No attire, playmats, sleeves, or any items that contain fictional or real characters or persons who dress immodestly. Ye don’t wanna be provokin’ the imagination of the lads!
  3. No smokin’, vapin’, or usin’ ye olde spit bottles.
  4. We prefer kosher items be consumed in this port of call, but do not require it. We be kosher pirates, not kosher dictators!
  5. Please swab up after yerselves, especially food mess, ye scallywags.
  6. Practice good hygiene ‘n  groomin’ so ye don’t smell like an olde sea dog!

Behave with Integrity ‘n Honor

  1. No thievin’, cheatin’, or lyin’. What, ye never heard of no pirates with honor?
  2. Follow the golden rule ‘n treat others as ye want to be treated. Seems simple, but the details can get a lil murky. Try anyways! Just don’t be a scallywag!
  3. No rabble rousin’ with what ye wear! Don’t hoist colors nor be wearin’ uniforms associated with movements ‘n things ye know will annoy yer crewmates, such as but ain’t limited to nazi symbols, confederate flags, pride progress symbols, gender identity symbols, radical activist stickers, etc.**

General Policies

  1. No pets.They be bad luck is what them is.
  2. Yer welcome to yer preferred pronouns. Yer crewmates are welcome to not use ‘em. Sort it out properly or ye both be walkin’ the plank.
  3. Do not dabble in the dark arts! Keep all the tarot, divination, ouija, ‘n other occult things outta this port of call. 
  4. Try new things, meet new crewmates, have fun!
  5. Ask yer questions! We’re happy to help.
